Ron 10:12AM: Lol ok

For whatever reason, I decided not to tell Tina about this until after we left the truck stop. We wake up from under the bridge, pack up and head back to Petro and charge up our walkie talkies.

We chill at the Petro for a little bit and run around asking truckers if they can give us a ride. Tina pulls through again by catching Milton (or Melton)

For me, the ride consisted of random trucker lingo and free chips. Refer to Tina’s post for more details because I was asleep for most of the ride and whenever I woke up, it was just for Fritos and more water to drink, then back to sleep and recording Arturo fall asleep on Snapchat and Instagam.

From Tina’s post:

“Lot lizard: prostitutes who hangs around truck stops
4-wheelers: regular cars on the highway
Seat covers: cute girls that wear revealing clothes while driving 4 wheelers. Since truckers are high up, they can look down at cleavage and whatever’s going on. They will also radio to surrounding truckers to check you out too. I think the alertness of boobs is a part of bro-code regardless of occupation.
Pickle park: an area where truckers (male and female) meet up with the sole purpose of hooking up. “

We reach somewhere into South Louisville and catch a bus to town and meet one of my former Couchsurfing hosts from a previous hitchhiking trip.

We reach Eiderdown to meet up with Laura (restaurant and bar) by bus and foot. We hug and I introduce the crew to Laura. Laura closes up and we ride in Laura’s truck bed back to her new place and after a little bit of drinking we decide to go off in search of some food. We end up eating Mexican burritos and tacos from La Bamba. Arturo and I talk to a hottie with huge perky breasts. None of us make any real moves, but Arturo refers to her as one of the most attractive girls he’s seen in a while and I refer to her as burrito tits (The restaurant saying is “Burritos as big as your head” with a picture to go along with it).

We leave the restaurant and walk past some wandering locals and they recommend following them to Tap Room.

We end up doing a horrible job at Karaoke singing “Nice and Slow” by Usher, but for everyone’s entertainment, I suggestively hump a chair to the beat. Angus does a solo rendition of  “Paul Revere” by the Beastie Boys. I am exhausted and we walk back and knock the fuck out.
